Founding Software Engineer Full Stack (Remote)

Job Description:

IndieAd Tech is seeking a passionate and skilled Founding Software Engineer to join our startup as the first full-time engineer. You’ll play a crucial role in shaping both the technical foundation and the product itself. This is a unique opportunity to have a significant impact on a growing company and work closely with the founding team.

Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop: Build, test, deploy, maintain, and improve our web application using Next.js.

• Front-End Excellence: Implement responsive user interfaces with Tailwind CSS and Tailwind UI components.

• Back-End Development: Work with Firebase and Google Cloud Platform services like Cloud Run and BigQuery.

• Product Shaping: Collaborate closely with the team to define, design, and launch new features.

• Technical Leadership: Participate in architectural decisions and influence the product roadmap.

• Future Growth: Opportunity to develop skills in backend and data engineering, including building our own ETL backend.

• Performance Optimization: Ensure applications are optimized for maximum speed and scalability.

• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to apply them to operations and activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience: 3+ years in full-stack web development.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Next.js and React.js.

• UI/UX Skills: Experience with Tailwind CSS and Tailwind UI.

• Cloud Services: Familiarity with Firebase and Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, BigQuery).

• Problem-solving: Excellent coding, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.

• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Mindset: Demonstrated ability as a 1x.engineer.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Backend Knowledge: Experience in backend development and data engineering.

• Data Skills: Knowledge of ETL processes and building data pipelines.

• Design Eye: An eye for UI details with a solid understanding of good UX practices.

• Learner’s Attitude: Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new technologies.

• Startup Culture Fit: Hands-on attitude with a startup mindset.
