Job Title: Front End Developer
Location of role: Remote role ideally someone near the state of UTAH or West Coast area
Salary base $170K to $180K Depending on experience DOE
Role Overview:
The company is seeking a Front-End Application Developer proficient in React (for web), React Native (for mobile), and Flask (Python-based backend) to build and maintain customer-facing web and mobile applications. The role requires integrating these applications with an AWS IoT MQTT backend for real-time communication with IoT devices. The developer will work on both web and mobile platforms and handle tasks such as bug fixes, new feature implementation, and integration with third-party SaaS services (Stripe, HubSpot, etc.).
Key Points of the role: Skills & Qualifications:
Essential:
- Frontend Experience:
- 3+ years of experience with React (web) and React Native (mobile) for building and maintaining applications.
- Experience in responsive design and cross-platform development (iOS and Android).
- Strong hands-on experience with Flask and Python for creating backend services and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL databases, ensuring seamless front-end/back-end integration.
- Hands-on experience with AWS IoT and MQTT protocols for real-time communication between IoT devices and cloud services.
- Knowledge of real-time data communication and push notifications using MQTT.
- JavaScript/TypeScript proficiency and experience in developing dynamic web/mobile applications.
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems for collaboration.
- 3+ years of experience in deploying applications through Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Preferred:
- AWS Services: Familiarity with AWS S3, Lambda, and API Gateway for expanded cloud service integration.
- IoT Knowledge: Understanding of other IoT protocols beyond MQTT.
- Security Best Practices: Knowledge of API and IoT communication security best practices.
- SaaS Integration: Experience working with Stripe and HubSpot.
- UI/UX Design: Basic understanding of UI/UX principles to improve user experience.
- Agile/Scrum: Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
