We are looking for a Front End Developer to support our team to improve our suite of products, improve user experience, and enhance our product development.

Role:

• Collaborating with product design team to define, design and implement Sprig Learning’s web application
• Design and build scalable, reliable, and robust products
• Develop, optimize, and maintain reusable React components using TypeScript
• Working effectively with the software development team to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow
• Write and maintain unit tests, end-to-end tests
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
• Participate in regular team meetings and work collaboratively with team
• Stay updated on emerging front-end technologies and best practices
• Troubleshoot and debug applications and resolve issues as they arise.
• Own projects from concept to execution, including development, testing, deployment, and monitoring
• Contribute to documentation and user-facing guides for your implementations
• Be a key resource for peers on support, lending your expertise and educating others.
• Engage actively in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 2-5 years experiences in Front End Web Development
• Experience working in a team-focused environment.
• Proficient in React and with component libraries or design systems
• Experience with state management tools, particularly Redux
• Experience with testing frameworks like Mocha
• Proficient writing React unit tests using Enzyme or similar tools
• Proficient with Selenium WebDriver, or similar tools, for end-to-end testing
• Experience debugging network and latency sensitive applications
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in data fetching and handling
• Preferred tools: Bitbucket, JIRA, Wiki.js and Git
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
