Your Role: We are seeking a talented Frontend Developer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with designers, product managers, and backend developers to build, optimize, and maintain user-centric features across Babonbo’s platform. You’ll have the opportunity to influence the technical architecture and play a key role in delivering a fast, scalable, and intuitive user experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React.js or Next.js.
• Implement various Next.js rendering strategies (SSR, SSG, ISR) with a strong focus on SEO best practices.
• Develop and maintain integrations with GraphQL and RESTful APIs.
• Develop and maintain mobile applications written in React Native as needed.
• Implement responsive and mobile-first designs with a focus on performance optimization.
• Collaborate in an Agile/SCRUM environment to deliver features on time and to specification.
• Ensure application security by adhering to OWASP principles and mitigating vulnerabilities like XSS and CSRF.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests using testing frameworks.
• Use analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Hotjar to monitor and enhance user experiences.
• Contribute to backend services using Node.js frameworks such as Express.js and Nest.js as needed.

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of experience in full-stack development.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Excellent knowledge of React.js, Next.js, and their ecosystems.
• Experience with mobile app development with React Native.
• Familiarity with Node.js backend frameworks (e.g., Express.js, Nest.js).
• Solid experience with Git and GitHub workflows.
• Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand).
• Experience with CSS-in-JS solutions like Styled-Components.
• Familiarity with the cloud platforms such as AWS. (eg. EC2)
• Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are a must.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Experience with SCRUM methodologies and working with Jira.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with spatial data (e.g., Google Places, Maps, PostGIS, Leaflet).
• Experience with docker and linux.
