Position: WordPress Full-Stack Developer

Location: Remote (Applicants must have a suitable remote working environment)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: BDT 35,000 – 55,000 (Based on experience)

We are looking for a talented WordPress Full-Stack Developer to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in turning our designs into cutting-edge WordPress products.

Responsibilities

Custom WordPress Theme Development:

• Convert detailed design mockups (provided by our UI/UX team) into fully functional WordPress themes.

• Ensure themes are responsive, lightweight, and optimized for performance.

• Adhere to WordPress coding standards and best practices.

Custom Plugin Development:

• Develop plugins to extend WordPress functionality as per project requirements.

• Ensure compatibility with WordPress core and popular third-party plugins.

Optimization and Debugging:

• Optimize themes and plugins for speed, SEO, and security.

• Debug and resolve issues in both themes and plugins.

Testing and Documentation:

• Conduct thorough testing for cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness.

• Create user-friendly documentation for themes and plugins for end-users and marketplaces.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the design team to ensure alignment between designs and development.

• Stay updated on the latest WordPress trends and technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience:

• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in WordPress theme and plugin development.

• Proven track record of developing and launching themes/plugins for marketplaces like ThemeForest is a significant plus.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science or a related field preferred but not mandatory).

Technical Expertise:

• Strong knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and MySQL.

• Proficiency with WordPress core, hooks, actions, and filters.

• Experience with WordPress REST API and creating custom post types.

• Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Bootstrap (preferred).

Tools & Workflow:

• Experience with version control (Git) and deployment workflows.

• Familiarity with tools like Webpack, Gulp, or similar.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).

• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Experience with WooCommerce development.

• Familiarity with SEO and website performance optimization tools.

• Knowledge of web accessibility standards.
