They are looking to make a full time hire for a long term position.

Location: Permanent Remote Work from Home in India

Experience: 6+ Years

Shift Timings: 12pm – 9:30pm (Summer), 1pm – 10:30pm (Winter)

Roles and responsibilities

  • Write and maintain clean, efficient code, with a particular emphasis on robust backend development.
  • Work hand-in-hand with design and product teams to deliver high-quality, responsive applications that meet client needs.
  • Implement modern, responsive web designs using the latest in web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Integrate applications seamlessly with a variety of external APIs and data services.
  • Design, build, and manage complex databases, focusing on schema design and query optimization.

Essential skills and experience

  • Strong proficiency in Next.js and Express.js with particular expertise in backend development.
  • Experience with modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms, preferably GCP (AWS is also acceptable).
  • Strong expertise in data visualisation technologies and libraries, such as D3.js or Chart.js, as the role involves creating a cutting-edge insights platform.
  • Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Design, build, and manage complex databases, focusing on schema design and query optimization.
  • Keep pace with emerging trends and advancements in both frontend and backend web development, applying this knowledge to continuously evolve our technology stack.

Desired skills and experience

  • Experience with Machine Learning: Useful for advanced data analysis and predictive features.
  • Background in Geospatial Data Processing: Beneficial for handling and interpreting location data.
  • Experience with CI/CD Pipelines: For efficient deployment and integration processes.
  • Previous Work in a Start-up Environment: Can be advantageous for adapting to the dynamic nature of the project.
  • Knowledge of Accessibility Standards: To ensure the app is usable by a wide range of users, including those with disabilities.
