About the Company:
Our client, a leading UK-based Ecommerce Tech business, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Web Developer to join their dynamic team. With over 20 employees and a strong reputation in the industry, this innovative company is at the forefront of ecommerce technology, delivering cutting-edge solutions to a diverse range of clients. This role is a fully remote position. To apply to this position you must have the right to work in the UK and be based in the UK (as our client cannot payroll outside of the UK). This role is paying between £70,000 – £80,000.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned developer who is passionate about creating robust and scalable web applications. The successful candidate will be an expert in Symfony, PHP, and Angular, with a proven track record of developing high-performance web applications. Additionally, experience working with AWS is essential, as the role will involve leveraging cloud services to optimize and scale the company’s ecommerce platforms. As the company is transitioning to a more Python-driven tech stack, any experience or interest in Python development will be highly advantageous. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere within the UK, while collaborating closely with a talented team of five developers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain complex web applications using Symfony, PHP, and Angular.
- Collaborate with the team to design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions on AWS.
- Contribute to the migration towards a Python-driven tech stack.
- Work closely with the product and design teams to implement new features and improve existing functionalities.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and security across all projects.
- Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior developers.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with Symfony, PHP, and Angular.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with AWS.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining complex web applications.
- Experience or interest in Python development is a plus.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote environment while collaborating effectively with a remote team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be based in the UK and eligible to work in the UK.
Pay range and compensation package:
Competitive salary package of £70,000 – £80,000 per annum (with some flex at the top end)
