Position Overview:

We are seeking an exceptional Full Stack Engineer to lead and build the technical foundation of GraphFusion. This is a unique opportunity to step in as a co-founder and play a critical role in shaping the product from the ground up, from architecture and backend development to frontend design. You will work closely with the CEO to turn the product vision into reality, while leading engineering efforts and setting the technical direction.

Responsibilities:

• Full Stack Development:
• Design and develop scalable, efficient, and robust backend systems using Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask).
• Develop and integrate frontend components using React.js, TypeScript, and other modern web technologies.
• Ensure seamless interaction between frontend and backend via RESTful APIs and WebSockets.
• Graph Construction & API Development:
• Lead the integration of Neo4j or other graph databases for dynamic knowledge graph creation and management.
• Design and implement APIs for real-time querying and updating of the knowledge graph.
• Confidence Scoring Mechanism:
• Collaborate with the founding team to design and implement a unique confidence scoring system to enhance graph reliability.
• Open-Source Integration:
• Leverage open-source libraries for graph visualization (D3.js, Cytoscape.js) and machine learning (Hugging Face, spaCy).
• Adapt and extend open-source solutions to accelerate development where possible.
• LLM Integration:
• Work on proof-of-concept integrations with large language models (e.g., BERT, GPT-2) for knowledge graph-enhanced NLP.
• Technical Leadership:
• As a co-founder, lead architectural decisions, technology stack selection, and long-term technical strategy.
• Build and manage the engineering team, ensuring best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
• Establish development pipelines, CI/CD processes, and DevOps best practices.
• Scalability & Performance:
• Architect systems with scalability in mind, ensuring the platform can grow to support multiple users and large-scale datasets.
• Implement distributed computing and graph processing optimizations using tools like Apache Spark.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with the CEO and other co-founders to align technical goals with business objectives.
• Interface with potential investors and partners during the proof-of-concept and demo stages.

Qualifications:

• Technical Skills:
• 3+ years of experience in full stack development with a strong focus on Python (FastAPI, Django) and JavaScript (React.js, Node.js).
• Proficiency with databases, especially graph databases (Neo4j, JanusGraph).
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and real-time communication protocols.
• Familiarity with machine learning models, particularly LLMs (BERT, GPT-2) and NLP libraries (spaCy, Hugging Face).
• Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Redux) and data visualization tools (D3.js, Cytoscape.js).
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

Preferred Experience:

• Previous startup experience or an interest in entrepreneurship.
• Experience with open-source contributions.
• Understanding of distributed systems and high-performance computing.
• Familiarity with security best practices (OAuth2, encryption).
