Role Overview:We are seeking a Software Engineer with solid experience in Next.js, Nest.js, and TypeScript. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating a seamless user experience across the Uri platform by building robust, scalable, and high-performing features. Your contributions will directly impact creatives and businesses who rely on our platform to find, collaborate, and succeed together.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Nest.js and frontend interfaces using Next.js, ensuring scalability, security, and optimal performance.
• Implement new product requirements in alignment with our platform’s goals, which include enhancing user profiles, streamlining job applications, and enabling client-creative communication.
• Maintain high-quality code through best practices in TypeScript, testing, and continuous integration.
• Proactively identify and address any issues with platform performance, scalability, and user experience.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience with Next.js, Nest.js, and TypeScript in production environments.
• Proven track record of building and deploying web applications, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, database structures, and cloud infrastructure (experience with Azure or AWS is a plus).
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and apply best practices in testing, code reviews, and continuous integration.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in building SaaS platforms, particularly with features such as booking systems, chat, and real-time notifications.
• Familiarity with UI/UX principles and a user-centered approach to feature development.
• Experience with OAuth2 authentication, Google APIs, or social media integrations.
