Full Stack Engineer (Remote)

Gyga Force is hiring a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer for a client based in San Jose, CA. This role focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing web applications with a strong emphasis on scalability, performance, and user experience. While the job is located in San Jose, remote work is an option for highly qualified candidates who can excel in a collaborative virtual environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement comprehensive solutions for web applications, integrating both front-end and back-end components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new features and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Build and maintain scalable APIs, microservices, and robust data storage systems.
• Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces that deliver a seamless user experience across various devices.
• Ensure high-quality code through testing, peer reviews, and adherence to industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges to maintain system reliability and optimal performance.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and frameworks, applying them where appropriate to enhance application performance and capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in full stack development.
• Proven experience in full stack development, with a strong command of modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Proficiency in back-end programming languages like Python, Java, Node.js, or Ruby.
• Deep knowledge of database systems, including relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB) technologies.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices, including Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools like Git.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a track record of building scalable, maintainable systems.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in team settings, whether in-person or remote.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with serverless architecture and event-driven systems.
• Knowledge of advanced front-end performance optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with GraphQL and API design principles.
• Experience with DevOps practices and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong personal portfolio showcasing innovative solutions.
