Full Stack Engineer (Remote)

As our Full-Stack Lead Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the technology and infrastructure of Vibin while working as the solo technical lead of the company.

Role Overview:

We’re seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Lead Engineer with at least 3 years of professional experience in software development. You will take full ownership of Vibin’s technical stack, building and scaling both the frontend and backend of our mobile app and associated systems. As the solo engineer, you’ll have the freedom to make impactful decisions, influence our technical direction, and directly contribute to Vibin’s growth.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a cross-platform mobile app using React Native CLI with smooth and engaging user interfaces.
• Build and optimize scalable and efficient backend systems with Node.js and Express.js.
• Design and manage MongoDB schemas, queries, and aggregations to ensure optimal performance.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on AWS services such as Lambda, S3, EC2, and others.
• Lead the end-to-end development of features, from ideation to deployment, while collaborating with stakeholders to align on requirements.
• Ensure high-quality code through adherence to best practices and writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Debug and resolve performance bottlenecks across both the frontend and backend.
• Implement robust security and data protection measures for backend services.
• Participate in agile workflows and own the release cycle, including continuous integration and deployment.
• Collaborate with the founder on product strategy and user feedback to prioritize features.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience in software development with a proven track record of building and deploying full-stack applications.
• React Native CLI: Strong expertise in developing mobile applications, integrating native modules, and managing state with libraries like Redux or alternatives.
• Backend Development: Proven experience with Node.js and Express.js for building RESTful APIs.
• MongoDB: Advanced proficiency in schema design, indexing, queries, and aggregation pipelines.
• AWS Services: Hands-on experience deploying, managing, and optimizing applications using Lambda, S3, EC2, and other AWS tools. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Version Control: Proficiency in Git and workflows using platforms like Bitbucket, GitLab, or GitHub.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Leadership: Ability to take ownership and lead development projects from start to finish as a solo engineer.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively in a startup environment.
