Full Stack Java Developer (Remote)

Salary: USD 2400 / month (based on experience)

Job Summary:

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will beleading the development of our new product initiatives and support existingapplications. You will partner with Business Analyst and UX Developer to workon product requirements, create technical deliverables, design and buildcomplex systems, and ensure timely and measurable execution.

With an unparalleled and disciplinedapproach to problem solving, coupled with a proactive attitude, you are willingto learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. You have a strong and proventrack record of working on scalable web and mobile applications. You have astrong bias towards elegant and simple solutions that drive direct value to theusers, are excited by “zero to one” projects, and can efficiently communicatefindings to leadership. You will always look for a balance between fastdelivery and building for scale by following development best practices andcreating documentation.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience inbuilding and maintaining high-quality, scalable, service-oriented applications.
• Proficiency with Java, Spring,Scala, Kotlin, MyBatis and Hibernate
• Proficiency with data modeling,SQL databases (MySQL, Postgres etc) and Firebase
• Experience with building,maintaining and integrating REST APIs and public-facing APIs
• Strong sense of ownership andfocus on long-term usability and extensibility
• Strong problem-solving skills -use a logical, methodical approach to overcome challenges that occur duringdevelopment. See obstacles as part of the process and, in fact, welcome thesetrials as “puzzles” to be worked out.
• Emphasis on exploring,experimenting, and innovating on current patterns and designs
• A collaborative attitude,team-player, friendly, with passion and flexibility to learn new tools andskillsets

Desired Skills:

• Wholesale or Ecommerce industryexperience
• Proficiency in Python or anyother programming languages.
• Experience with NoSQL databases(MongoDB, AWS DynamoDb…)
• Experience withcontainerization (Docker)
• Experience working on cloudplatform ecosystem – Azure / AWS
