Full Stack Team Leader (Remote)

Role Overview: They are looking for a Full Stack Team Leader who thrives in a startup atmosphere. In the first few months, you will act as a Senior Engineer and then you will step into the team leader role, where you will lead a distributed team of developers, driving the design, development, and continuous improvement of their core platform. As a hands-on leader, you will ensure your team meets deadlines while solving complex problems and guiding them toward technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the team in designing, developing, and deploying web applications using React on the front-end, Node.js on the back-end, and MySQL for database management (less than 5 people)
• Define project requirements, break down tasks, and create detailed project plans and timelines to ensure timely delivery.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and address any technical challenges.
• Collaborate with international stakeholders across various time zones to ensure project alignment and clear communication.
• Foster a supportive, high-performance team environment focused on delivering scalable, high-quality software.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Full Stack development experience, with strong proficiency in React, Node.js, and MySQL.
• 3+ years of experience leading and managing development teams.
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a proven ability to work across distributed, global teams.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to mentor and guide a remote team.
