Empower Tutoring is looking for a Education Administrator located in Ontario for our online tutoring centre. This is a full-time, remote position from 10:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday.
About Us:
Empower Tutoring is an Ontario-based tutoring company, offering online tutoring for high-school students in Math, Chemistry, Physics, English, and more. Our team of tutors provide personalized tutoring sessions, tailored to each student they work with.
We are currently looking for a dedicated entry-level Education Administrator who is an enthusiastic, high energy, and ambitious leader who enjoys making a difference in the lives of students.
Your Role:
- Provide assistance to parents and students with inquiries and onboarding.
- Conduct consultations to understand student needs and communicate available services effectively.
- Oversee tutor scheduling and availability.
- Match students with tutors based on needs and qualifications.
- Track and manage leads using a CRM system.
- Monitor active student progress and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Identify and communicate staffing needs to management.
- Support enrolment and payment processes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
This is an exciting role for the self-motivated leader who is looking to make contributions to a growing and dynamic educational organization. You must be energetic and truly enjoy working with students of all ages to inspire learning.
Qualifications:
- University degree
- Knowledge of the Ontario curriculum for Grades 9-12
- Experience in administrative work or sales (preferably in an educational setting). Previous experience as a tutor is an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (ability to write professional emails and communicate with parents/tutors via phone or video calls)
- Excellent customer service skills with a strong focus on building positive relationships; able to respond with empathy and professionalism to the needs of parents and tutors,
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively.
- Charismatic and personable, with a natural ability to build strong relationships with parents and/or students.
- Proactive and self-motivated, taking initiative to solve problems and improve processes.
- Available full-time and willing to commit for the long-term.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
