As a Full Stack Developer at Wizcore, you will play a crucial role in managing and developing our WordPress website. You will also be responsible for adding new functionalities, improving user experience, and implementing technical SEO strategies to enhance our online visibility. Additionally, you will oversee web hosting servers and ensure the sites smooth operation, security, and performance.

Role & responsibilities

• Manage, develop, and maintain our WordPress website, ensuring it is user-friendly, visually appealing, and up-to-date.
• Implement new functionalities and features using both front-end and back-end development.
• Conduct regular SEO audits and optimize website content for improved search engine rankings.
• Implement on page SEO tasks as instructed my SEO team.
• Handle web hosting tasks, including server management, backups, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure website security, performance optimization, and regular updates to both core systems and plugins.
• Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to ensure seamless integration of campaigns and content.
• Monitor site analytics, provide reports, and implement improvements based on data insights.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies and WordPress best practices.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a focus on WordPress development.
• Proficient in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.
• Strong back-end experience with PHP, MySQL, and WordPress frameworks.
• Solid understanding of SEO best practices and tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, etc.).
• Experience in managing web hosting servers, cPanel, and WordPress migrations.
• Knowledge of web security, website performance optimization, and responsive design.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with popular WordPress plugins (e.g., Elementor, WooCommerce, Yoast SEO).
• Experience with graphic design and website UX/UI improvements.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Previous experience working in IT training or educational organizations.
