Our Customer is a leading provider of digital solutions for education and research institutions. Their customers include universities, colleges, and research organizations across the UK. They are in the process of creating a new platform to deliver data products to their customer. These include datasets, dashboards, reports and interactive reports. This is being implemented in Wagtail. They have a UX team who are creating design and user flows, these need to be implemented as Wagtail pages along with templates that will allow data content creation team to create data product pages.

To implement this they are developing integrations that allow for front end login, links to datasets and integration code with authorization services and visualization servers (Tableau at the moment). These integrations are being handled by the internal team.

Responsibilities & Duties

Our customer is looking for a Skilled and experienced Software Developer. This is a remote role working with an agile team making a contribution to iterative software development releases.

You are expected to build font end templates to implement designs and flows being created by UX team. This requires a good knowledge of building Wagtail/Django templates and Django templating language. It would include models and template tags in Python where necessary and also implementing Django/HTML templates which make use of those models and tags. A good working knowledge of HTML and CSS including implementing Tailwind CSS in templates if possible. Ideally you would be required to help with integrations but this is not an absolute requirement, but a nice to have.

Benefits

Weekly Working Hours: 40 hours.

Work Schedule: as per UK office hour

Daily rate: £315 per Day all inclusive
