We are seeking an Analog/Mixed-Signal Design Engineer within Digital Healthcare. Job responsibilities include IC design starting from initial specification through design, layout supervision and silicon evaluation.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, willing to learn exciting new technologies and be able to work effectively within a talented group of individuals.
Specific areas of technical expertise include one or more of the following areas:
Low Power ADC /DAC design particularly Δ

  • converters.
    • Mixed Signal Design Techniques
    • AFE design: optical (heart-rate & blood oxygen), biopotential (ECG, EMG, EEG), electrochemical and temperature applications
    • Responsibilities will include:
    • IC design starting from initial specification through design, verification, documentation and layout supervision
    • Generation of behavioral models for system level simulation and verification
    • Silicon evaluation and characterization to product introduction
    • Assisting test engineering with design for test and manufacturability
    Requirements
    • Master’s degree or PhD in EE (Ph.D. Preferred) with focus in analog/mixed-signal IC design
    • 3+ years of relevant industry experience
    • Thorough familiarity with data converter design techniques. (Recent completion of successful projects in this area is a significant plus)
    • Understanding and utilization of digital signal processing
    • Strong intuitive and analytical understanding of transistor-level design
    • Experience designing in deep sub-micron CMOS
    • Familiar with the following tools: Cadence (Spectre, AMS, Virtuoso), Matlab, Common laboratory equipment
    • Strong technical and communication skills
