    MAIN FUNCTION:

    • Manage all aspects of the GeForce product line addressing the needs of all sales channels (Consumer, Commercial and OEM). Define product requirements and drive strategic direction, roadmap, messaging, and competitive analysis to achieve growth targets and overall success of PNY’s product initiatives.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, management, or equivalent. Master’s degree a plus.
    • 7+ years product management/marketing experience; PC components, consumer electronics or consumer packaged goods experience is ideal.
    • Excellent oral and written communications skills, including ability to communicate effectively in English.
    • Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast paced environment.
    • Experience in participating in cross-functional teams.
    • Technical competency, business acumen, strong analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Strong MS Office skills.
    • Ability and willingness to travel as required.

    KEY RELATIONSHIPS:

    • PNY Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Marketing Operations, Engineering, Planning and Procurement groups.
    • Major partners (like NVIDIA) and customers including Vendors, Retailers, OEMs and Distributors in NA and LATAM.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Category/Product Strategy and Go-to-Market Planning and Execution

    – Keep abreast of marketplace activity including market share, key performance drives, trends and new product/technology development and communicate learnings/implications/actions to management.

    – Develop category objectives, strategy and market plans.

    – Develop and implement initiatives and product strategies to drive category sales in all channels (Consumer, Commercial and OEM) in North America.

    – Develop and execute key marketing plans designed to drive sales, build brand awareness and grow market share. Align with Creative team on digital marketing/web support, and Sales on customer marketing support.

    • New Product Development

    – Lead product ideas through all phases of PDG model to launch by leading evaluation, recommendations, presentations and development.

    – Drive ideation via vendor and customer discussions, trade shows, marketplace learnings and employee idea program to fuel the future roadmap.

    – Lead cross-functional team including Procurement, Production Planning, Engineering and NPI Team in planning and execution of new product launches.

    – Lead packaging development process for new launches and line extensions.

    – Provide component requirements and direction for bill of material (BOM) development.

    • Product Lifecycle Management

    – Create and manage product category roadmap.

    – Drive excess inventory management activities.

    – Lead product lifecycle management by managing SKU maintenance and rationalization in monthly meetings.

    – Contact potential vendors and coordinate with Asia support team to identify new roadmap opportunities.

    – Maintain continual discussions with Procurement to understand new roadmap opportunities and EOL updates.

    – Distribute Marketing Bulletins for launches, EOL’s, etc.

    • Management Plan/Forecasting

    – Drive development of annual management plan goal and financials and collaborate with Sales and Finance. Evaluate financials on an on-going basis and work to achieve sales and P&L targets.

    – Target Plan Meeting: Collaborate with Sales and Planning in monthly evaluation of performance and forecast, drive recommendations and present to Management.

    – Actively participate in discussions with Planning, Sales and Procurement to understand demand forecast, challenges, opportunities and key actions to drive the management plan.

    • Sales Support

    – Engage with customers/buyers on new product launches and key marketing initiatives via conference calls and visits.

    – Collaborate with Sales in the development and implementation of initiatives focused on channel marketing, SWOT & competitive analysis, product positioning, collateral/launch materials preparation, promotional planning, rebates, etc.

    – Provide product assortment recommendations and product slides to Sales for customer presentations, including merchandising recommendations.

    – Provide assistance in developing sales tools, training guides, etc.

    • Pricing

    – Manage all aspects of pricing development including competitive pricing analysis, market insights, new product costs and SKU/part number lists.

    – Develop promotional calendar and provide on-going updates to Sales.

    • Promotions

    – Create promotions to stimulate product category sales, awareness and brand equity and reduce emphasis on price.

    – Lead development and execution of secondary display vehicles from design inception to product ship.

    • Other

    – Prepare overview presentations for internal and external use.

    – Coordinate with PNY Europe and Taiwan to ensure a global product management approach.
