The General Manager at Onex Beauty Group (OBG) will lead operational, financial, and team management across both B2B and B2C channels. This role involves strategic leadership, a focus on high-quality customer service, and seamless daily management of operations. The GM will work closely with department heads, develop key partnerships, and uphold OBG’s standards of excellence to drive brand loyalty and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
– Oversee all salon & showroom operations, and service delivery.
– Manage budgets, control operational costs, and monitor KPIs to boost efficiency and profitability.
– Mentor and guide management, promote growth, and ensure accountability through regular appraisals.
– Foster a collaborative and client-centered culture.
– Develop strategies to increase client loyalty and referrals.
– Ensure quality service from entry to exit, manage feedback systems, and oversee loyalty programs.
– Build relationships with industry influencers and local businesses for brand partnerships.
– Negotiate vendor contracts to align product offerings with client needs and salon services.
– Craft marketing strategies for B2B and B2C, leveraging digital platforms and in-store promotions.
– Partner with the marketing team on campaigns and monitor sales performance for growth opportunities.
– Set budgets, analyze financial data, and identify areas for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
– Implement revenue-maximizing policies and maintain financial health.
– Address client feedback to uphold the company’s standards of excellence.
– Act as a brand ambassador at industry events and maintain high client care standards.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
– 5+ years in a General Manager or similar role, preferably in the salon or beauty industry.
– Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
– Knowledge of salon operations, customer service, B2B/B2C sales, and proficiency in MS Office and salon software.
– Excellent negotiation, problem-solving skills, and a strategic approach.
