We’re an exciting company on a growth journey, with approximately 170 employees. While we work remotely, our headquarters are based in Malmö where we have a few seats in the Minc incubator close to the central station. In addition to Sweden, we operate in several international markets, including Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, the UK, and Norway.
Position overview
Yazen Health is seeking a strategic and creative Social Media Manager to lead the creation, execution, and optimize our social media strategy. This role requires a deep understanding of digital marketing, storytelling, and brand building as well as how various social media platforms operate, their algorithms, and the trends prevalent on each platform The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting compelling content that educates, engages, and inspires our target audience, aligning with Yazen Health’s mission and business goals.
Creative inhouse global Marketing production team
As a driving force within the marketing department, you will collaborate closely with Yazen Health’s Creative Inhouse Production Team. This team focuses on creating high-impact content that supports business objectives, strengthens our brand presence, and resonates with diverse audiences.
Responsibilities:
Designing and developing social media strategies: Creating and developing social media strategies, setting goals to enhance brand awareness, and increasing engagement.
Collaborating: within and outside of the marketing team. Working with the Creative lead and the team of Content managers to secure maximum output and efficient use of resources
Managing multiple social media platforms: Overseeing all social media platforms of the company, including Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and TikTok.
Efficient working methods: Establish repeatable methodologies and mechanisms that enable frugal, fast, and responsive content development and distribution
Content planning and creation: Developing content plans, strategizing, and delivering them to the team for implementation.
Performance analysis: Liaise with the Growth department to conduct performance analysis to measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns, providing reports and offering recommendations for improvements.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs
Scheduling content: Managing content posting schedules, and utilizing social media management tools.
Paid advertising campaigns: Creating, managing, and optimizing the creatives for paid advertising campaigns on social media platforms.
Market research and competitor analysis: Conducting market and competitor research, identifying the latest trends in social media to ensure the company or brand stays at the forefront.
Reputation management: Monitoring and maintaining the company or brand’s reputation on social media by addressing negative reviews or comments.
Dialogue on SoMe: Oversee and advise on social media dialogues to secure good tone and increased engagement, brand awareness and ultimately conversion.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or relevant industry experience
5+ years of managerial experience, including hiring, developing, and motivating a social media and content team to perform at the highest level;
Advanced decision-making skills with proven ability to drive direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams;
Strong storytelling skills
Proven ability to engage, connect and build an audience across multiple channels;
Strong interpersonal skills; experience working across different teams to inform and produce content;
Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation creation skills;
A strong attention to detail in both written and visual contexts and an “always on” sense of urgency.
Proficient in Adobe suite, Google suite, FIGMA, MIRO and publishing systems as well as project management tools such as NOTION
Highly creative individual with enthusiasm to conceptualize and implement programs that are disruptive while maintaining brand elevation
Location
Remote or preferably based in Stockholm, Gothenburg, or Malmö, Sweden.
Reporting
Reports to the Head of Content.
