As a Google Ads Specialist, your day starts with analyzing campaign metrics and optimizing strategies. You collaborate with creatives to develop compelling ad content and visuals. Monitoring campaign performance and making real-time adjustments is crucial.


Responsibilities:

  • Google Ads Campaign Management: Manage Google Ads campaigns, including keyword research, A/B testing, and optimizing ad performance. Continuously monitor and refine ad strategies to ensure maximum ROI and reach.
  • Keyword Research: Conduct detailed keyword research to identify high-performing keywords and phrases. Use tools like Google Keyword Planner to find terms that will drive the most qualified traffic.
  • Content Creation: Create compelling content for ads and social media platforms, helping drive engagement and brand awareness. Ensure that content aligns with brand voice and resonates with the target audience.
  • Campaign Performance Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of campaign metrics and adjust strategies based on performance data. Provide regular reports to stakeholders with actionable insights for campaign improvement.
  • Email Marketing: Execute email marketing campaigns using MailChimp, managing design, targeting, and performance tracking. Segment email lists for personalized campaigns that drive higher engagement and conversions.
  • Bid Management: Implement and continuously refine effective bidding strategies to maximize return on investment. Adjust bids based on performance data, competitive analysis, and budget constraints.
  • Optimization: Continuously monitor campaign performance metrics, such as click-through rates, conversion rates, and cost-per-click. Make data-driven adjustments to improve ad relevance, landing page quality, and overall campaign effectiveness to meet and exceed KPIs.

A typical day starts with checking Slack for instructions or updates on new campaigns. The candidate clarifies any questions with team members before conducting research to gather insights for setting up the new campaigns. They then set up these campaigns, ensuring all elements, such as ad copy, targeting, and bidding strategies, are correctly configured. The afternoon is spent optimizing existing campaigns by analyzing performance metrics and making necessary adjustments to enhance campaign performance. The day concludes with reviewing the work done and sending a brief report via Slack, summarizing accomplishments, insights, and any issues encountered.
