Principal Accountabilities
- Develop and nurture relationships with legislative and regulatory entities in APAC.
- Actively influence legislative and regulatory initiatives that impact NSF’s interests.
- Provide timely intelligence on pending legislative and regulatory actions affecting drinking water and other areas of interest to NSF.
- Advocate for the use of accredited third-party certification schemes in regulatory compliance.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including industry associations, NGOs, and other relevant organizations.
- Represent NSF at policy forums, conferences, and industry events.
- Perform other duties as required to support the objectives of NSF.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience working with federal legislative or regulatory bodies.
- Demonstrated ability to influence legislative proposals and navigate regulatory environments.
- Strong knowledge of the drinking water industry and regulatory compliance requirements in APAC countries.
- Ability to work independently as a member of a remote team, effectively managing priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate Degree in a related field.
- Multilingual.
- Regulatory compliance knowledge of the dietary supplement, medical devices and pharma industries.
