PURPOSE: Maintain professional sales relationships with government bodies to represent Lincoln Electric objectives. Align company projects with government regulations and provisions. Engage in regulatory discussions on behalf of the company. Keep track of and influence incoming legislation impacting the company.
Responsibilities And Duties
- Maintain professional relationships with government bodies to represent company objectives.
- Align company projects with government regulations and provisions.
- Engage in regulatory discussions on behalf of the company.
- Keep track of and influence incoming legislation impacting the company.
- Aid in driving sales across the various automation businesses through the government or government contactors
- Familiarity with government sales process and regulations.
- Ability to develop and implement strategies for achieving sales goals.
- Coordinates with legal internal and external audits. Advises management on and drives the implementation of audit actions and associated improvement activity, including regular progress reports.

- Understanding of government structures and bureaucracy process.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Solid interpersonal capabilities for building meaningful connections.
- Ability to maintain a solid network across a variety of sectors.

- Passion for sales and customer service.
Education/Training/Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Relations, Engineering or a related field preferred or 15 years of related experience.
- Experience in contract reviews, and legal/legislative government and defense contracting processes a plus.
