About The Role
We are seeking a highly creative and adept all-rounder with a broad perspective to work across a variety of projects. Supported by a local and national team, you will gain experience across various typologies and have the opportunity to work in multi-discipline teams. Your responsibilities include:
- Partnering with project and design leads, as you develop design concepts and documentation through.
- Joinery design and detailing
- Communicating and liaising with clients and external contractors
- Quality Assurance to ensure documentation complies with current regulations and satisfies scope requirements
About You
Your all-round skills from concept design, planning through to project documentation and delivery, including strong detailing and materials knowledge, will be constantly flexed and instrumental in your success. We look forward to welcoming someone with an inquisitive mind, who is a true team player and keen collaborator, in addition to:
- A Bachelor of Design in Interior Architecture or equivalent (this is essential)
- Competent Revit documentation skills
- Clear, articulate presentation style – visually, verbally and in written form
- An understanding of the National Code of Construction and Australian Standards, particularly with regards to Interior Architecture
- Beginner to Intermediate visualisation skills including Enscape, Photoshop and InDesign
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Previous industry experience gained through internships or work experience will be highly regarded, but is not essential
