About the role
Join the team at Commodore Printing and Graphics as a full-time Graphic Artist. Based at our office in Archerfield, Queensland, this exciting role will see you creating impactful print ready designs that support the company’s client base.
What you’ll be doing
- Collaborate with the Sales/Production Manager to conceptualize and deliver engaging graphic designs for a variety of print and digital media
- Develop eye-catching layouts, illustrations and other visual assets
- Ensure design work adheres to the company’s brand guidelines and style
- Work closely with the production team to prepare files for offset printing or digital publishing
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies
- Contribute ideas and solutions to improve our design processes and outputs
- Select Administration Duties related to the design items being created
- Help in the Print Production of created artwork files to Accurio and Versaworks when required. Experience is not essential as training can be provided
What we’re looking for
- Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Graphic Designer or Graphic Artist, preferably in an Offset/Digital Business
- Be able to use Print Software such as Accurio and Versaworks for correct printable art files
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Strong conceptual and visual design skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent time management and the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Collaborative team player with good communication skills
- Passion for creating innovative, high-quality design solutions
