JOB SUMMARY
The JA Americas Graphic & Audiovisual Designer will report to the Regional Communications & Marketing Lead and will be responsible for creating visual and multimedia content to effectively communicate messages, enhance branding, and engage audiences.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
· Participate in strategic brand discussions and contribute with creative insights to strengthen the regional communications strategy.
· Adapt the global brand guidelines to the region’s plan and monitor its implementation.
· Propose and implement improvements for all channels and formats: web, social networks, graphic materials, LMS.
· Innovate and propose new materials and creative solutions to effectively engage different audiences.
· Design a range of high-quality digital and physical assets—such as PowerPoint presentations, PDFs, pitch decks, posters, video storyboards, and booklets—offering scalable graphic and animated design solutions that adhere to brand guidelines.
· Produce and edit audiovisual pieces (corporate videos, promotional videos, events, etc. and adapt them to multiple sizes and formats, complying with the timing/needs of each communication campaign.
· Work with project teams to deliver visually appealing designs that meet organizational goals.
EXPERIENCE, REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
· Bachelor’s degree in graphic & audiovisual design, fine arts, communications, or similar discipline.
· Fluency in oral and written Spanish and English is required; proficiency in Portuguese is a plus.
· Knowledge of design principles such as typography, color theory, and layout.
· Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and knowledge of design tools, video editing, Adobe Illustrator, HTML, Squarespace, and WordPress. Familiarity with AI tools is a plus.
· Office package management.
· Minimum of 4 years of graphic design experience, with expertise in both digital and print media.
· Experience in content production across editorial, graphic, audiovisual, and digital formats.
· Demonstrated experience in video editing, graphic design and motion graphics.
· Experience in managing relationships with suppliers (agencies, production companies, etc.)
· Curiosity, innovation and staying up to date with trends.
· Comfortable working in an international setting with individuals from diverse backgrounds, cultures and working styles.
· Commitment to quality excellence.
· Flexible with changing job requirements as the organization needs change.
LOCATION: Latin America and the Caribbean.
