Graphic Designer (Remote)

We are a leading company in the organic coffee industry, committed to producing high-quality, sustainable products sourced directly from small farmers in Latin America. Our mission is to create authentic and memorable experiences through our products while supporting local communities. We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer with expertise in packaging design to visually capture the authenticity and tradition behind our brand.

Role Overview

As the Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for designing packaging that authentically reflects the company’s identity and values. You will collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure all designs, including packaging, newsletters, and digital content, convey the essence of our brand, which merges traditional elements with vibrant Latin culture.

This is a full-time, long-term contractor role, offering the opportunity to make a lasting impact by developing distinctive packaging designs and supporting other creative initiatives.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in packaging design, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates creative and authentic designs
• Proven ability to design for brands rooted in traditional culture, with a deep understanding of coffee or Latin American culture being a plus
• Expertise in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong creative thinker with attention to detail, particularly in cultural design nuances
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred, as much of the communication is conducted in Spanish
• Strong collaboration skills with a marketing and brand-focused mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with companies that focus on traditional products or cultural heritage
• Familiarity with the coffee industry and its cultural significance is a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Create compelling packaging designs that combine traditional elements with the rich Latin coffee culture
• Collaborate with the marketing team to design all brand-related artwork, including but not limited to:

• Packaging
• Newsletter graphics
• Website visuals and layouts
• Social media content
• Print materials (posters, postcards, flyers)
• Video ad production

Develop and update brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all creative outputs

Ensure quality control of all designs, maintaining brand consistency across various platforms

Present a portfolio that highlights relevant projects, especially those that combine traditional and Latin design elements

Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and brand objectives
