About The Client (Piermont Brands)
We are seeking a talented and versatile Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team at Piermont Brands, a leading spirits portfolio company. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker with a strong eye for design, able to produce high-quality visual materials that resonate with our brand identity and engage our target audience. This role will involve creating a wide range of design assets, including sell sheets, presentation decks, shelf talkers, case cards, posters, merchandise, social media content, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Creation
- Develop visually compelling sell sheets, presentation decks, and case cards that effectively communicate our brand messaging and product offerings.
- Create eye-catching shelf talkers and posters for in-store promotions and events.
- Design merchandise (e.g., apparel, glassware, promotional items) that aligns with brand identity and marketing objectives.
- Produce engaging social media posts, including graphics and promotional materials that enhance online presence and customer engagement.
- Work closely with the marketing team to understand project objectives, target audience, and brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with product managers and sales teams to gather insights and incorporate feedback into design projects.
- Partner with external vendors and printers to ensure quality and accuracy in the production of design assets.
- Identify and coordinate the sourcing of merchandise that aligns with brand strategy and marketing campaigns.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and projects are completed within budget.
- Maintain organized files and documentation for all design projects, including versions, assets, and specifications.
- Uphold and enhance brand standards across all design outputs, ensuring consistency in visual identity and messaging.
- Conduct regular reviews of existing marketing materials to ensure they remain current and aligned with brand updates.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging design techniques, and competitive landscape to bring innovative ideas to the team.
- Analyze the effectiveness of design materials and make recommendations for improvements based on feedback and performance metrics.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in the consumer goods or spirits industry.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other design software.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, particularly in marketing and branding.
- Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate design concepts effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with print production processes and materials.
- Experience with digital marketing, including social media design and content creation.
- Knowledge of merchandise sourcing and production processes is a plus.
- Understanding of marketing strategies and consumer behavior in the spirits industry is highly desirable.
