Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Associate Multimedia Coordinator to create custom designs for digital platforms, including social media, newsletters, and infographics.
- Regularly update and refresh infographics while contributing innovative design ideas to improve the organization’s website aesthetics and functionality.
- Design and format visually appealing publications, ensuring clarity and coherence for various reports and internal documents.
- Uphold branding strategies across all organizational content, maintaining consistency and quality.
- Organize and manage the digital asset library in Google Photos and Google Drive, assisting team members in accessing required resources.
- Provide general administrative support to the communications team and assist other departments as needed.
Required Skills
- Proficient in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere, Acrobat, Photoshop) with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or QGIS, along with skills in animation and audiovisual production.
- Strong ability to create engaging digital assets suitable for web and social media channels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; fluency in additional languages such as French, Arabic, Portuguese, or Spanish is advantageous.
- Proven capability to maintain brand consistency, work collaboratively across departments, and manage multiple tasks in a remote setting.
- Attention to detail and adaptability in meeting deadlines and incorporating feedback.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in visual communications, graphic design, journalism, or a related field is required. Self-taught designers with relevant backgrounds in social sciences or humanities are also encouraged to apply.
