With a commitment to growth and excellence, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Group HR & SEQ Manager to lead related functions across multiple regions.
Job Summary:
Reporting to the CHRO the Group HR & SEQ Manager, will be responsible for overseeing the HR operations for all business units within the organisation. You will lead strategic initiatives to attract, retain, and develop top talent, while promoting a high-performance culture aligned with our company values. This role requires a professional with proven experience in handling complex HR and SEQ matters across diverse locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute related strategies that support the company’s overall objectives and growth plans.
- Talent Acquisition & Management: Lead and optimise recruitment efforts to attract the best talent in the industry. Implement talent management programs to build leadership pipelines.
- Employee Relations & Engagement: Foster a positive work environment and handle employee relations effectively, ensuring adherence to policies and legal requirements.
- Performance Management & Development: Design and drive a performance management system that aligns individual goals with organisational objectives.
- Remuneration & Benefits: Ensure competitive compensation and benefits programs, in line with industry standards and regional requirements.
- HR Compliance & Risk Management: Guarantee compliance with employment laws across all regions and proactively manage HR-related risks.
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor the HR/SEQ team and others, promoting a culture of collaboration, growth, and excellence.
- Incident Reporting: Ensuring incidents are reported and recorded via our reporting systems.
- Continuous Improvement: Apply the principles that underpin continuous improvement.
- SEQ Compliance: Monitor compliance with workplace policies and procedures
- SEQ Employee Engagement: Build a reward based SEQ Management program that engages every AirRoad Group team member irrespective of job title.
- Injury Management: Where injuries occur make sure our team members are receiving the best medical and rehabilitation services in each location
- Risk Assessment: Oversea risk assessments and incident / quality ICAM aligned investigations.
- Workers Compensation: Via SEQ Partners ensure workers’ compensation claims in each state are cost effectively managed and RTW programs are resulting in a reduction in DR’s
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree majoring in Human Resources or related field e.g. Psychology, Health & Safety.
- A minimum 3-5 years in a managerial role overseeing multiple business units.
- It is desirable but not essential that applicants have industry experience.
- Excellent relationship building and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and manage change effectively.
