JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Director of Field Marketing, the Group Manager, Field Marketing will lead a group of Field Marketing Managers providing marketing support to drive growth of veterinary specialty & emergency hospitals across the US. This player/coach position will lead the team to develop growth marketing plans that include driving awareness of services, new site and site expansion marketing, digital marketing, reputation management, social media, recruitment marketing support, and external communications (B2C and B2B). In partnership with Field Operations, the Group Manager, Field Marketing will develop a marketing strategy to support regional goals and priorities, provide strategic marketing support to hospitals in the group, and advise on marketing best practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with the Field Operations team to understand regional goals and priorities and create marketing strategies to support those goals.
  • Provide strategic marketing support to all hospitals within the assigned group.
  • Manage a team of field marketing managers, including coaching and motivating team members to
  • achieve goals, developing performance and conducting regular performance reviews, evaluating progress on team marketing goals, and training & developing staff.
  • Analyze performance across assigned groups, evaluating marketing strategies and plans to ensure they are innovative and effective and achieve short/long-term objectives while staying within budget.
  • Measure and report on marketing activity results, including analyzing complex information to distill the impact of marketing programs, scorecard marketing effort, and performance, and communicate this to the Field Operations team and Hospital Leadership.
  • Develop and implement marketing programs and activities for assigned hospitals, in partnership with hospital leadership, to drive referrals from local veterinarians, increase consideration and awareness of hospitals, and educate referring veterinarians and clients about services offered.
  • Create toolkits, best practices, training, and SOPs to support existing and future hospitals.
  • Lead special projects and assist with related initiatives as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years of marketing experience, including 1+ year of managing direct reports
  • Demonstrated track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Solid understanding of marketing data and analytics and ability to use it to provide insights; experience with digital analytics tools
  • Self-motivated individual who can manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to solve problems with innovative thinking, decision-making, and resilience
  • Adept at working with multiple clients and stakeholders
  • Veterinary or human health experience a plus but not required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), social/digital media and email platforms
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Occasional travel required

The base salary range for this full-time position is $90,000-105,000. Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The Company offers competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision benefits, vacation, sick leave, 401(k), and more depending on location.
