About the Role
Group Technical Leader is responsible for leading and advancing the development of technical architectural processes in the practice. This role involves overseeing project delivery, contributing to projects, mentoring teams, and ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for innovation in design and technology. The role can be based out of Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement technical standards, guidelines, and procedures to enhance the quality and efficiency of architectural practices.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation within the practice.
- Lead research and development initiatives to explore new methodologies, tools, and technologies in architectural design and delivery.
- Represent the practice in professional forums, conferences, and industry events to promote technical capabilities and thought leadership.
- Chair and Lead Technical Leadership Group to prioritise and oversee technical initiatives.
- Address technical challenges and provide solutions to ensure successful project delivery.
- Advisory and review role on technically complex and major projects
- Provide mentorship and guidance to architects and technical staff, enhancing their professional development and technical skills.
- Collaborate with design teams to develop effective project delivery strategies.
- Conduct regular reviews of project documentation and deliverables to ensure technical accuracy and adherence to best practices.
