About the role

Roar Apex is looking for a skilled Growth-Driven Product Marketing Manager. Our client is a VC-backed SaaS disruptor transforming the sales enablement space with cutting-edge solutions. As a Product Marketing Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in driving product success through innovative, data-driven strategies. This high-impact role is ideal for someone with a strong background in fast-paced, venture-funded startup environments, where creative problem-solving and analytical thinking are keys to success. You will craft and execute marketing plans that fuel product growth and tap into viral potential, all while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data-driven marketing strategies that leverage product features to drive viral growth. 
  • Develop and execute sophisticated A/B tests across multiple channels to optimise messaging, user experience, and product features.  
  • Analyse user behaviour data to uncover and amplify viral loops and network effects within the product.  
  • Launch unconventional and bold marketing campaigns that break industry norms and capture target audiences.  
  • Collaborate with product teams to integrate viral and sticky elements into the product roadmap.  
  • Use advanced analytics tools to track key growth metrics, such as viral coefficients and customer acquisition costs, and provide actionable insights.  
  • Develop innovative referral programs and user incentives to boost customer-driven acquisition.  
  • Conduct rapid experimentation cycles, continuously testing and refining growth strategies.  
  • Identify and capitalise on untapped marketing channels and growth opportunities with a creative mindset.  
  • Stay informed on emerging trends in growth hacking and viral marketing, bringing fresh ideas and insights to the team.  

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing or growth marketing, specifically within VC-backed B2B SaaS companies.  
  • Proven track record of achieving growth KPIs in high-pressure startup settings.  
  • Strong analytical skills, with expertise in data analysis and statistical methods.  
  • Experience in designing and implementing successful A/B testing strategies.  
  • A creative thinker capable of challenging conventional marketing norms.  
  • Proficient in analytics tools like Google Analytics and Mixpanel, as well as A/B testing platforms.  
  • Familiarity with programming concepts and the ability to work effectively with technical teams.  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.  

Key Skills

  • Proficiency in product analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel, Heap).  
  • Experience with A/B testing platforms (e.g., Optimizely, VWO).  
  • Familiarity with user behaviour analytics tools (e.g., Hotjar, Mouseflow).  
  • Skilled in competitive intelligence software (e.g., Crayon).  
  • Knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello).  
  • Experience with content creation and sales enablement tools (e.g., Canva, Figma).  
  • Relevant certifications: Product Marketing Alliance, Pragmatic Marketing Certified Product Manager (PCMP), Product School’s Product Management Certification.
