At 1Fi, we are building the future of smart investing and spending. We enable our users to earn returns of equity while enjoying the peace of mind of fixed deposits. To put it simply, we invest customers’ capital in diversified buckets of high-return equity mutual funds (for long term investing) and extend them a line of credit at only 8% p. a. in the form of a EMI free, fully flexible overdraft for all their spending requirements. This enables our young and aspirational customers to earn high returns to grow their wealth while being able to afford an aspirational lifestyle in a financially disciplined fashion.
Role: Growth Lead
As the Growth Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving 1Fi’s sales and customer acquisition strategy. Reporting directly to the founder(s), you will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, driving revenue, and shaping a scalable growth strategy that aligns with the company’s mission. This is a high-impact role requiring an entrepreneurial mindset, a data-driven approach, and strong sales acumen.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the growth strategy to scale user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Lead efforts to identify, establish, and optimize sales funnels, ensuring a seamless user experience from discovery to conversion.
- Work closely with marketing and product teams to design and implement growth experiments, track results, and iterate on strategies.
- Identify new growth channels, partnerships, and distribution opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Analyze customer data and market trends to uncover insights and shape strategies for customer acquisition and revenue generation.
- Drive referral programs, campaigns, and other creative initiatives to maximize customer lifetime value (CLTV).
- Own key growth metrics (e.g., Topline, CAC, LTV, churn) and ensure all initiatives contribute to achieving business goals.
- Establish and manage relationships with key external partners to enhance distribution and brand visibility.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in growth, sales, business development, or related roles, preferably in fintech, consumer tech, or financial services.
- Proven track record of scaling user bases, driving revenue growth, and optimizing growth channels.
- Deep understanding of customer acquisition, retention strategies, and performance marketing.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform decisions and optimize processes.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and take ownership of growth initiatives from ideation to execution.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A passion for fintech innovation and empowering customers with smarter financial solutions.
- MBA or equivalent experience in strategy, sales, or marketing is a plus.
