The Role:

As the Growth Marketing Lead at Spexi Geospatial, you’ll be at the forefront of driving our marketing initiatives to scale the business and fuel adoption. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution to design, launch, and optimize ROI-focused campaigns across diverse channels. You’ll collaborate across teams to streamline workflows, improve marketing tools, and ensure alignment with company-wide goals, while crafting impactful content and delivering data-driven insights to refine strategies. The ideal candidate is a data-driven marketer with a proven track record of driving growth in fast-paced environments, who thrives on innovation and collaboration. Bonus points if you bring knowledge of community building, affiliate programs, or geospatial technology.


Location:

This position is primarily remote; however, you will occasionally be required to work at our office in the 800 block of Powell Street, Vancouver, BC, to foster collaboration and engage in strategic planning sessions. Candidates located in the greater Vancouver area will be given first consideration, followed by those in other parts of British Columbia, then across Canada, and finally in the United States. As the role evolves, some travel may also be required.


Responsibilities:


  • Drive ROI-Focused Growth Strategies
    : Design, execute, and optimize campaigns across paid, organic, and partnership channels to achieve measurable business outcomes.


  • Identify and Leverage New Opportunities:
    Explore and experiment with emerging growth channels, discovering innovative ways to drive user acquisition and adoption.


  • Optimize Campaign Performance:
    Analyze performance data to refine campaigns, enhance efficiency, and scale initiatives that deliver maximum impact.


  • Collaborate Across Teams
    : Partner with teams across Spexi to improve marketing tools, streamline workflows, and enhance reporting capabilities, ensuring alignment with company-wide goals.


  • Craft Compelling Content:
    Ensure consistent, engaging, and impactful messaging across all marketing platforms and campaigns.


  • Deliver Data-Driven Insights:
    Monitor and interpret performance metrics to inform strategic adjustments and optimize outcomes.


  • Build for Scalability and Impact:
    Develop processes, frameworks, and systems that support sustained growth, paving the way for expanded team responsibilities and leadership opportunities.


What you Bring:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in growth or performance marketing, ideally withing startups or high-growth companies.

  • A track record of independently managing and delivering impactful marketing initiatives that drive measurable results.

  • Expertise in analyzing campaign performance, interpreting data, and making data-driven decisions to optimize outcomes.

  • Strong familiarity with marketing tools and platforms, including Salesforce, HubSpot, Mixpanel, and Metabase.

  • Resourceful, innovative, and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively across teams to achieve shared objectives.


Bonus Points

  • Knowledge of community building, affiliate programs, or influencer marketing strategies.

  • Background in drones, geospatial technology, or related industries.

  • Experience working in or contributing to global expansion efforts or multi-regional marketing campaigns.

  • Familiarity with SQL, APIs, or coding is a plus.

Annual Salary:
$80K to $135K CAD

This range is designed to accommodate variations based on the candidate’s location, considering factors such as whether they are based in a rural or urban area, the cost of living in their province or region, and whether they are located within Canada or the United States.
