The Opportunity
Are you a content visionary? Do you excel in crafting powerful narratives and driving global brand strategy through impactful content? As the Head of Content, you will own the entire content strategy, working across PR, social media, and multimedia formats to enhance brand awareness and engagement on a global scale. This is a leadership role where you’ll not only shape the voice of the company but also drive content performance, working closely with cross-functional teams and managing a talented group of writers, SEO experts, and CRM professionals. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead the Global Content Strategy: Develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with growth objectives and resonates with target audiences globally.
- PR & Awards Strategy: Collaborate with external PR agencies to maintain sustained media presence and manage an awards calendar to maximize brand trust and visibility.
- Content Creation & Innovation: Oversee the production of high-quality content in various formats (video, blogs, social) to engage different audience segments across multiple channels.
- SEO Optimization: Partner with the SEO team to ensure all content is optimized for search engines, driving traffic and boosting domain authority.
- Collaboration & Partnerships: Work with internal teams, App Store partners, and influencers to create co-branded content, enhance product marketing, and elevate customer engagement.
- Content Localization: Ensure content is localized to support international growth, working with regional teams to ensure relevancy and impact.
- Content Calendar & Output: Maintain a forward-looking content calendar, managing the output of articles, videos, and other materials to enhance brand positioning.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with graphic design, CRM, product, and sales teams to create and maintain content that supports product releases, email campaigns, and strategic initiatives.
- Content Performance: Utilize tools like SEMrush, Google Analytics, and HotJar to measure content performance, presenting opportunities for improvement and growth.
What You’ll Need:
- Proven experience developing and executing a content strategy that supports business growth and customer engagement.
- Strong knowledge of SEO and the ability to integrate best practices into content planning.
- Expertise in storytelling, writing, editing, and developing content in multiple formats.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage, inspire, and mentor a team of writers, designers, and content creators.
- A data-driven mindset with experience analyzing content performance metrics and optimizing accordingly.
- Strong project management skills, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output across content initiatives.
- Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders across marketing, sales, and product teams.
- Creative vision and ability to innovate content ideas and formats to capture audience interest.
Bonus Points for:
- Experience with tools like SEMrush, HotJar, and Google Analytics.
- Background in working with global or multi-territory businesses.
- Understanding of CRM and email marketing campaign strategies.
