Head of Marketing – RegTech SaaS – The Role
The Head of Marketing will report directly to the C-suite, working closely with leadership based in the UK. This role requires a hands-on professional with the ability to lead and manage a marketing team of four, each specialising in areas such as SEO, content, and demand generation. The successful candidate will balance strategic oversight with operational delivery, distributing responsibilities effectively while ensuring the marketing function achieves its ambitious goals.
As the organisation grows, this role will be pivotal in aligning marketing initiatives with the broader business strategy, ensuring impactful execution across campaigns, brand building, and lead generation activities.
Head of Marketing – RegTech SaaS – Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive B2B marketing strategy, aligning with the company’s vision and the unique demands of the RegTech vertical.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and distribute work across a team of four marketing specialists, each focusing on core areas such as SEO, content marketing, and demand generation.
- Hands-On Execution: Take an active role in key marketing activities, from content development to campaign execution, while empowering team members to excel in their respective areas.
- Demand Generation: Oversee multi-channel campaigns that generate high-quality leads and support revenue growth.
- Digital Strategy: Optimise website performance, user experience, and SEO to drive organic growth and engagement.
- Content Marketing: Plan and deliver compelling thought leadership materials such as blogs, whitepapers, case studies, and webinars to support brand awareness and lead nurturing.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and UX, to align marketing activities with customer needs and business objectives.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse marketing performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics or equivalent platforms, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive activity, and market opportunities to refine marketing strategies proactively.
- Event & Branding Initiatives: Lead participation in events, awards, and branding opportunities to enhance market presence.
Head of Marketing – RegTech SaaS – Requirements
- Extensive experience in a senior marketing role, ideally within SaaS or RegTech industries.
- Proven ability to balance hands-on marketing execution with strategic oversight and team leadership.
- Experience managing and mentoring marketing teams, with a track record of achieving results through collaboration.
- Expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, demand generation, and performance analytics.
- Proficiency with marketing tools and analytics platforms, with flexibility to adapt to internal CRM and systems.
- Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to create and oversee impactful marketing content.
