Job Title: Head of Marketing
Work Hours: Flexible with 4 hours overlap between 9:00 AM-5:00 PM EST
Salary Range: $1,800-$2,400 per month
Overview of the Role:
The Head of Marketing will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for driving the marketing strategy and execution for the brand. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in leading growth, social media, and brand development at a hypergrowth DTC startup, particularly in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) space. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of scaling brands and delivering measurable results.
Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth for the brand.
- Align marketing initiatives with overall business goals and objectives, ensuring a cohesive brand message across all channels.
2. Brand Management:
- Oversee the development and implementation of brand guidelines to ensure consistency and integrity across all touchpoints.
- Lead creative direction and content strategy to build a strong, recognizable brand identity.
3. Growth Marketing:
- Develop and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, influencer partnerships, content marketing, and SEO.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
4. Paid Media:
- Plan and execute paid media strategies across various platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, and other emerging channels).
- Manage budgets and analyze performance metrics to maximize ROI on paid media investments.
5. Team Leadership:
- Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their professional goals.
6. Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
- Stay abreast of industry developments and emerging technologies to ensure the brand remains ahead of the curve.
7. Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Collaborate with external partners, agencies, and vendors to enhance marketing efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 6+years of experience in marketing, with a focus on brand management and growth at a hypergrowth DTC startup, preferably in the CPG space.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive brand growth and customer acquisition.
- Strong expertise in digital marketing, including social media, content marketing, SEO, and paid media.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a history of building and leading high-performing teams.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
