I’m currently recruiting for an exciting remote-based Head of Sales role on behalf of my client, a respected Ofsted-rated Grade 2 training provider, specializing in apprenticeship and training solutions for the construction and trade sectors. This role is ideal for a candidate with proven experience in these industries and a strong network of B2B contacts. Fantastic role with high OTE oppotunity for the succesful candidate!

About the Role:

This role focuses on selling tailored apprenticeship and training solutions to employers in the construction and trade sectors. You’ll be responsible for building new client relationships, expanding existing accounts, and guiding clients through their initial experience with our client’s services. In the Head of Sales role, you’ll actively identify client needs and offer bespoke programme solutions that help businesses upskill their workforce and meet their growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

* Drive business development and meet sales targets by establishing and growing partnerships with construction and trade sector companies.

* Leverage your industry connections to expand market share and strengthen brand presence in the sector.

* Conduct engaging presentations, both virtually and face-to-face, to promote apprenticeship and training solutions.

* Gather client insights to support continuous improvement and ensure offerings align with evolving customer needs.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

You should have a robust background in B2B sales within the construction or trade sector, with a proven record of success in building and managing client relationships. A solid “black book” of industry contacts and knowledge of apprenticeship funding will be highly advantageous. However selling in this sector would be a key cornerstone to this.

Key Skills and Competencies:

* Proven sales experience in the construction or trade industries, with established sector relationships.

* Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively across various channels.

* A collaborative and self-motivated approach, with a focus on achieving targets and delivering client-centric solutions.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and pipeline management.
