Role Overview:
The Head of Sales will spearhead efforts to drive revenue growth and establish the company as a leading provider of bespoke software solutions. Leveraging your expertise in software sales, telemarketing, and digital marketing, you will identify opportunities, build strong client relationships, and lead our sales strategy.
This is a hands-on leadership role that offers the unique opportunity to help scale a high-growth startup while directly influencing its success.
Responsibilities:
Software Sales Expertise:
· Leverage your knowledge of software sales to identify and connect with potential clients in need of bespoke software solutions.
· Act as a trusted advisor, guiding prospects through the decision-making process with clear explanations of technical concepts and ROI.
Lead Generation & Telemarketing:
· Research and target potential clients through industry-specific approaches.
· Use telemarketing to engage prospects, understand their pain points, and propose tailored solutions.
Networking & Outreach:
· Attend relevant industry events, meetups, and conferences to generate leads and promote the company’s services.
· Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers in target industries.
Digital Marketing Campaigns:
· Manage ad spend to drive inbound leads from platforms like LinkedIn and Google Ads, ensuring campaigns are aligned with the software sales funnel.
· Develop targeted email marketing campaigns with messaging specific to software solutions.
Sales Cycle Management:
· Manage the full sales cycle, from lead qualification to contract closure, ensuring a high win rate.
· Collaborate with the technical team to create and present proposals that address client needs.
Technical Communication:
· Understand the company’s software development process and translate technical capabilities into clear client value propositions.
· Effectively communicate software-related solutions and timelines to clients.
Performance Monitoring:
· Use CRM tools to track progress, manage pipelines, and provide insights into sales performance.
Essential Skills:
· Minimum 3-5 years of experience in B2B software sales, ideally in bespoke software or tech services.
· Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and the ability to explain concepts like APIs, integrations, and agile development.
· Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
· Strong ability to generate leads, manage sales cycles, and close deals.
· Ability to explain complex software solutions to non-technical audiences.
· Excellent written and verbal communication for outreach and presentations.
· Proficiency with CRM tools and marketing platforms.
· Familiarity with software sales methodologies
· Comfortable working in a startup environment with a hands-on approach.

Base Salary:
£30,000 – £40,000 (OTE £97,500)
Commission:
10%-15% commission on new client revenue, with uncapped potential
