Count’s Services segment is dedicated to providing exceptional education and expertise to over 6,000 professional services businesses across Australia. Our portfolio includes leading brands such as Accurium, Knowledge Shop, TaxBanter, and Priority Networking, supporting professional growth and success for our clients.
About the Role:
We’re seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Sales – Services to lead the growth of Count’s Services businesses. This strategic role will drive sales growth, manage high-performing teams, and nurture relationships with Australia’s largest professional services firms. The successful candidate will be part of Count’s Group Leadership Team and report directly to the Group Head of Services.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue, market share, and customer expansion.
- Set clear sales goals aligned with broader company objectives.
- Identify and leverage new business opportunities, market trends, and partnerships.
Team Management & Development
- Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, providing direction, feedback, and resources.
- Recruit, train, and develop top-tier sales talent.
- Foster a high-performance culture through continuous feedback and performance management.
Sales Operations & Execution
- Oversee the sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
- Utilize data insights to drive sales performance and optimize strategies.
- Ensure alignment between marketing, services, and product offerings.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with executive leadership to shape and execute business strategies.
- Represent the sales function at key meetings and presentations.
- Lead client negotiations and ensure customer satisfaction while protecting Count’s interests.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Stay ahead of industry trends and competitors to refine the sales strategy.
- Champion the adoption of new sales techniques, tools, and technologies.
- Leverage CRM systems for data analysis and decision-making.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years in a sales leadership role, with a proven track record of success in driving growth and leading teams.
- Extensive experience in business development and the sales process within the financial services sector, especially for accountants and financial planners.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a passion for developing talent and achieving results.
- Deep knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot), sales performance analytics, and forecasting tools.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, business acumen, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative approach.
