Key Responsibilities

- Maximize the effectiveness of electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare software.
- Provide comprehensive technical support and training to healthcare personnel to optimize technology use.
- Implement and sustain telemedicine and remote monitoring solutions to enhance patient engagement.
- Assess and advocate for new technologies to bolster ongoing healthcare projects.
- Spearhead disaster recovery planning and establish resilient data backup protocols.
- Manage technology budgets and cultivate robust vendor partnerships.
- Stay abreast of industry developments and emerging technologies to foster innovation.
- Ensure the continuous availability and reliability of healthcare technology systems.
- Mentor and nurture a team of IT professionals, promoting a collaborative atmosphere.
- Develop and enforce technology policies and procedures to sustain operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in healthcare technology management.
- In-depth understanding of healthcare operations and regulatory standards.
- Proven track record in project management and process enhancement strategies.
- Expertise in IT infrastructure planning and execution.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and other healthcare technologies.
- Strong grasp of data privacy and security regulations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling engagement with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a capacity to inspire and motivate a team.
- Project management certification is advantageous.
- Experience with telemedicine and remote monitoring solutions.
- Capacity for analyzing complex issues and suggesting creative solutions.
- Awareness of healthcare industry trends and advancements in technology.
- Proficiency in budget management and vendor negotiation.
- Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage various projects effectively.
