Role Summary
As an HR Administrative Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our HR department’s daily operations. You’ll assist with recruitment, record-keeping, event coordination, and provide administrative support to ensure smooth departmental functions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage digital and physical records; ensure accurate filing and easy accessibility.
Support event logistics and HR initiatives.
Coordinate meeting schedules, set up rooms (physical and virtual), and prepare necessary materials.
Handle HR communications including policy updates, birthday cards, and work anniversaries.
Assist with the initial steps of the Workers’ Compensation process and other HR-related inquiries.
Utilize HRIS systems for job postings and candidate correspondence.
Translate documents and policies to support our diverse workforce.
Who You Are
Experienced: You bring 2-5 years in an administrative support role, with HR experience preferred but not required.
Bilingual: Proficiency in both English and Spanish is required to serve our diverse community.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with Google Suite, Excel, and HRIS systems; able to handle digital filing systems effectively.
Organized and Detail-Oriented: You can manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Communicator: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with various departments and external partners.
Adaptable: You’re able to handle a dynamic work environment and adjust to evolving priorities.
Additional Requirements
Must pass a background check prior to employment.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; knowledge of Human Resources fundamentals a plus.
Physical and Environmental Conditions
Typical office environment with moderate noise levels. Must be able to sit for prolonged periods and handle basic physical activities such as walking, standing, and light lifting.
