Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
Our askHR team provides an advisory service to the organisation on all HR matters such as payroll, leave management, employee benefits, etc. The team also plays a key part in providing better candidate experience by preparing all offer documentation and following through with successful candidates to ensure effective on-boarding into the organisation.
The askHR team attend to approximately 500 queries per week, answering general HR queries and have built up a strong reputation for their efficient and timely service. We are on a path of continuous learning and improvements, and there are opportunities for personal development and growth, not only within the team but also into other HR-related roles within the wider HR function.
We have a hybrid work model, with working from home days as well as compulsory in the office days if you are rostered on the askHR phone shift.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
- Previous HR Advisory work experience
- Tertiary qualification in HR or related course
- Excellent knowledge of HR processes and procedures
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrates great customer service skills
- Computer literate, able to use MS Office packages
- Possess excellent attention to detail as preparing offers
