Your Role

  • You develop, monitor, and enforce HR policies in strict alignment with regulatory standards; perform regular compliance reviews to identify risks, recommending and implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
  • You embed governance standards across all HR operations to ensure consistent alignment with the bank’s compliance and risk management frameworks.
  • You lead audit preparation and coordination for HR, managing all phases of the audit process, including documentation, team readiness, and response to audit inquiries.
  • You resolve existing audit findings effectively and promptly by implementing corrective actions and tracking their progress to completion.
  • You provide comprehensive compliance training for the HR team, fostering a culture of adherence to regulatory and governance requirements.
  • You serve as the primary point of contact for all audit-related inquiries and requests, ensuring effective communication and collaboration between HR, Legal, Compliance, and Audit teams.

  • Comprehensive understanding of German labor laws and key regulatory frameworks, including General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, BDSG), Regulation on the Supervisory Requirements for Institutions’ Remuneration Systems and relevant financial supervision guidelines (KWG, InstVergVO).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an HR compliance or governance role within the financial services, banking or fintech sectors.
  • Proficiency in data management and audit processes
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills to foster collaboration.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
  • Proactive approach in identifying gaps and improving HR processes.
  • Fluency in both German and English.
