Job Responsibilities
Full cycle recruiting:
- to include helping hiring managers with job description creation and/or updating; sourcing candidates; working with placement agencies
- screening, interviewing candidates; coordinating interviews with candidates and hiring manager, and any other team members who are part of the selection team
- Conducting Reference checks
- Draft offer letter, and send to candidate
- Creation of Electronic Personnel file
- Onboarding
- Orientation
Employee Relations
- Manage employee disciplinary actions and terminations.
- Work with all departments to provide guidance to HR issues.
- Maintain positive relationships with employees and resolving issues with the utmost empathy and confidentiality.
Performance Review Process
- Responsible for running our annual performance review processes, including meeting with managers to discuss and increase employee engagement, coaching managers on performance issues, ensuring equity across the process and working with employees on career guidance and growth.
Compensation Review Process
- Responsible for working on our bi-annual compensation review process and coordinating with the CFO to ensure equity internally and externally.
- Updating salaries in Paylocity
Benefits Administration
- Liaison between Benefit provider and employees
- Work with Brokers to conduct annual open enrollment
Oversight and design of additional HR processes and initiatives as needed including:
- Employee surveys, employee recognition programs, policy creation and review
- Policy and procedure administration, coaching, onboarding, offboarding, compensation, organizational structure, and performance management.
Offboarding
- Process separations, both voluntary and involuntary to include Exit Interview
- Terminating employees in Paylocity
- Coordination with Alectrona to get equipment returned and accounts shut down
Paylocity Administration
- Setting up new hires
- Terminations
- Compliance i.e. tax set ups, reporting, changes
Training And Professional Development
- Partner with the CEO and Leadership team to provide a coordinated, proactive and efficient approach to training.
- Coordinate group trainings
- Research trends in the industry and the training available
Development And Implementation Of HR Policies And Procedures
- to include maintaining Employee Handbook;
- forms creation
Compliance
- Support compliance with all federal and state laws, including FMLA and benefit regulations
- Keep up with changes to laws, and regulations
- Ensure that RP3 is up to date on HR laws and regulations
Culture
- Be the lead on all things Culture for the agency
Other Duties
Strategic Planning:
- Planning for staffing and hiring based on the agency’s project load
- Consulting with the Leadership team on decisions that impact all management
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
- At least 5 years of human resource management experience is preferred.
- SHRM-CP is a plus
- Creative Agency Experience a plus.
Supervisor Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Position/Hours Worked
This is a full-time position. Given the nature of marketing, this position requires someone with a strong work ethic and growth mindset. Occasional work outside standard business hours is also expected.
