JOB PURPOSE
To deliver a consistent, high level, employee experience that engages, develops and retains our Retail & Concessions team members.
You will have specific responsibility for a designated region in France and for Benelux, providing first line people support and working closely with the Regional, District and Store Managers. You will maintain a close proximity with the teams in your region regularly visiting stores and concessions
The role reports to the HRBP Director Europe and collaborates closely with two other HRBP in France as well as the wider HR team.
MAIN ASPECTS
Employee Relations
Act as first point of contact and advice for managers and where relevant employees, on Employee Relations issues.
You have knowledge of the local Employment/Labor Laws and use this knowledge to make effective decisions.
This could include absence and health issues, disciplinary and grievance investigations / hearings, conduct and capability processes, etc.
You will work in collaboration with line managers and other members of the HR team to ensure that situations are managed fairly and appropriately and in line with the legal frameworks and company policies in both countries.
Absence management
You will work with managers across your region to track long term sickness and ensure regular reviews, support and return to work plans are in place.
You will regularly follow up with managers on long term leaves (Maternity / Adoption / Parental & Paternity…) and support managers and employees in putting in place return to work plans.
Advice and Insight
You will work with the HR Shared Services & Payroll team to ensure people processes are delivered accurately and on time. You will support the HRBP Director in reviewing and updating all people policies and ensuring new legislation is incorporated in a timely manner.
You will meet regularly with your management population to share feedback and analysis / trends from key people data including staff turnover, absence levels, engagement survey results, leaver feedback.
Management Development
You will advise, coach and develop our people managers (Regional, District, Store) on all people related issues with the aim of building their level of capability and independence.
You will create and deliver training in the region where required to upskill Managers on people related matters working in conjunction with the Learning & Development manager.
Learning and Development
You will support learning and development initiatives in your region and animate the use of the ‘Flex’ platform in conjunction with the management population.

ABOUT YOU
- 5 years of experience in HR or related field in France and Benelux
- Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills
- Understands the importance of Customer Service
- Fluent in French and English
