WadiTek is looking to hire a Human Resources Consultant for our Government project.
The candidate must have experience with USA Staffing, including the Selection Manager and Onboarding modules, NFC/EPIC web, and the National Finance Center’s EmpowHR system.
Here’s What You Need to have:
- Strong knowledge of coding and processing personnel actions, including coding Standard Form personnel actions with Nature of Action codes, tenure, probationary period, and legal authority.
- Experienced in GRB Platform.
- Experienced in recruitment, placement, position management, classification, compensation, performance management, and personnel support services.
- Experienced in OPM’s eOPF system.
- Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite, including MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong communication skills.
Here’s What You Will Be Working On:
- Inputs and verifies documents for employment in the USA Staffing system required to onboard new hires.
- Creates and/or updates personnel reports based on program, auditing or special project needs.
- Researches complex pay and personnel policy questions.
- Explains Human Capital Transactions program requirements and reasons for decisions. Assists managers, supervisors, and administrative staff on the day-to-day use of a variety of automated data processing equipment and systems ((i.e. E-Verify, GRB, USA Staffing, EmpowHR, NFC, IT Service Hub)
- Ensures actions are entered into the National Finance Center (NFC) database by established
- Provides advisory services on recruitment/staffing related to processing personnel actions and hiring new employees.
- Determines benefits eligibility creditable service (e.g., computing SCDs) and follow up on suspense actions (e.g., probationary and trial periods, unapplied, NTE, WIGI Determinations, etc.).
- Verifies Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) assessments associated with PDs, and personnel files.
- Confirms and verifies veteran’s preference eligibility from the employee records, reviews and confirms the accuracy of routine pay adjustments.
- Processes documents associated with inputting SF-52s (Request for Personnel Actions) and SF-S0’s (Notification of Personnel Action).
- Works with HC Talent Acquisitions Specialists to recruit for a full range of commonly filled positions; provides input and guidance on a range of hiring authorities.
