Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced USA Visa Petition Specialist with in-depth knowledge of completing Form I-129 and supporting documentation. This position is ideal for professionals who have hands-on experience handling complex visa types, including P-1, O-1, O-2, O-3, EB-1A, and I-485. The specialist will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and submitting petitions with the utmost accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring compliance with all USCIS regulations.

  • Prepare and file Form I-129 petitions for P-1, O-1, O-2, O-3, and EB-1A visa categories, ensuring all necessary sections of the form are accurately completed according to the specific visa classification.
  • Ensure that Part 1 through Part 9 of Form I-129 and all relevant supplements for O and P classifications are completed with precision, including correct petitioner and beneficiary information, classification requests, and details on employment or events.
  • Accurately complete and submit O and P classification supplements, ensuring that detailed descriptions of the beneficiary’s extraordinary ability or event participation are clear, comprehensive, and tailored to the specific visa type.
  • Gather, organize, and verify all required supporting documents for the I-129, including contracts, letters of recommendation, itineraries, proof of extraordinary ability, and employer or agent agreements as applicable to P-1, O-1, and EB-1A classifications.
  • Ensure compliance with USCIS guidelines for the specific P, O, and EB-1A visa categories, including requirements for consultation letters, evidence of prior work, and peer group or labor organization support where necessary.
  • Monitor and implement any changes in USCIS instructions for Form I-129, particularly those related to P and O visa classifications, ensuring all petitions are up-to-date with the latest regulations and policies.
  • Review and manage multiple venue petitions or support personnel petitions associated with P and O visa classifications, ensuring each petition includes the correct supplementary details and itineraries as required.
  • Address potential Form I-129-related issues and provide guidance on responding to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) that involve clarifications or additional documentation specifically tied to the I-129 petition for these visa categories.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Form I-129 for P-1, O-1, O-2, O-3, and EB-1A visa categories is required.
  • Proficiency in handling I-485 filings for adjustment of status is strongly preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of USCIS requirements and guidelines, particularly related to sports and entertainment immigration.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple cases at various stages.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and the legal team, providing clear guidance on document requirements and timelines.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
  • Prior experience in a law firm specializing in immigration, specifically P and O visas, is highly desirable.
