Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development / Sales Manager to lead client acquisition and revenue growth in the I.T. staffing industry. This role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building lasting client relationships, and driving sales strategies to achieve company goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in I.T. staffing, strong networking skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development:
- Identify, target, and secure new clients in the I.T. staffing space, focusing on Fortune 2000 companies and large enterprises.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and potential growth opportunities.
- Generate leads through networking, industry events, and online research.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including CIOs, HR leaders, and procurement managers.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their staffing needs and delivering customized solutions.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by overseeing service delivery and addressing any concerns.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., recruiting, marketing) to align business development efforts with organizational goals.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and RFP responses.
- Monitor and report on sales metrics, pipeline progress, and revenue forecasts.
- Use CRM tools to manage sales activities and maintain accurate records of client interactions.
- Partner with recruiters to ensure seamless communication and effective delivery of staffing solutions.
- Provide market feedback to leadership to refine service offerings and improve competitiveness.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales or business development within the I.T. staffing or professional services industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of I.T. staffing services, trends, and client requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain a strong professional network.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
- Bachelor s degree in business administration, Marketing, I.T., or a related field (preferred).
- Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
